May 2008 - Brandon Brown joins parent corporation, Harris Entrepreneurs Group (HEG), as the first Business and Technoloy Sales Specialist. Brandon is a rising junior at Winston Salem State University, with a major in Mass Communications. Performing in this capacity at HTS will allow Brandon to gain valuable public speaking, effective communication and bargaining skills as he sells the various products and services offered by HEG and associate firms.

July 25, 2008 - Business Empowerment Expo - The Harris Entrepreneurs’ Group and Harris Technology Solutions, Inc are sponsoring the first, annual Business Empowerment Expo – Summer 2008 at the Charles Cook American Legion Post 193, 201 E. Wake St., Dunn, NC, on Friday, July 25, 2008. Proceeds go to support the Harris Business Technology Training Fund, established to purchase computers/ materials needed to address the technical training needs of youth and disadvantaged workers in our local communities.
